This Image was created for the Gnomon Workshop's monthly contest. It's meaning is derived from the idea of an outsider's thought of what a home should be. I started out, as always, with some basic sketches. I tried Lightwave for the creation of the city but I couldn't get the exact feel of the city's complex and incomprehensible nature. So I moved it into Zbrush, and it was much easier to create the controlled mayhem that I was going for. After rendering I added some special effects and color correction on the city and eventually painted the two figures in the foreground. I used mostly Painter to do the post-work.
